- 1 or 2 day programs ending with a thorough evaluation from our check-up physician.

- A full report of your test results at the end of the day or the next, depending on the schedule.
Check Up Preparation
- Please come overnight fasting for the check-up and avoid eating anything after midnight.
- Do not have breakfast or snacks.
- Avoid smoking, drinking coffee or chewing gum after midnight.
- You may drink only some water after midnight before your check-up.
- Do not take any medication in the morning.
- Stop taking alcohol 3 days before your check-up.
- Do not apply any cream on your body.
- Do not exercise in the morning.
- If you’re pregnant or suspicious of being pregnant, you must inform your physician before the procedures start.
- Please bring the results of your previous tests.
- Bring your sportswear and sport shoes for the exercise stress test (tread-mill). Do not wear jewelry.
- For women, check-up date should not be on a menstruation day.
- Please reschedule your check-up appointment to another date under the following conditions:
- If you have any infection symptoms such as fever, fatigue, sore throat,
- If your menstruation has started,
- If you’re on antibiotics treatment
- If you’ve taken alcohol in the last 3 days,
Medications found in the list below must be stopped at least 3 days prior to your check-up appointment:
- If you’re on aspirin and if your check-up package includes “fecal occult blood test”, stop taking aspirin 5 days prior to your check-up. If you have a condition requiring regular aspirin treatment (coronary heart disease, heart valve disease, etc.), please record on the medication chart below.
- Vitamins
- Herbal medicines or supplements
- Iron supplements
Medications taken for chronic diseases including high blood pressure, diabetes, heart, arthritis, thyroid disease, high cholesterol, psychiatric disorders, neurological disorders.
You may take morning doses of these medications after you give blood for check-up tests.
We recommend you to bring your medications with you.
Number of days required
You can finish most of our check-up programs in 1 day only, some comprehensive check-up programs take 2 days to complete. You can fly back home the next day!

Radiology
The Radiology Department at Anadolu Medical Center is at your service with state-of-the-art equipment and imaging protocols. The department provides imaging services 24/7 with paying a great attention to minimizing the dose of radiation to which patients are exposed. All analyses conducted through the PACS (picture archiving and communication system) can be retrieved from anywhere in the hospital.

Pathology
Various advanced laboratory techniques that conform to the CAP international quality assurance program are used at Anadolu Medical Center to analyze structural and functional defects in tissues and cells. Anadolu Medical Center’s Pathology Department provides immediate reporting of biopsy results, particularly in cancer cases, to the physician without waiting for a written report to be prepared. This minimizes the amount of time patients and their families have to wait for results. Moreover, this enables whatever treatment is needed to begin as quickly as possible. Since early tissue diagnosis can alter the course of surgery performed with certain types of tumors, our pathologists attend the surgery to obtain appropriate tissue specimens and make a precise diagnosis. Nuclear Medicine
The Nuclear Medicine Department at Anadolu Medical Center applies radioactive substances to diagnose and treat numerous cancerous and non-cancerous diseases.
The tests performed at the Nuclear Medicine Department are extremely sensitive to abnormalities in the structure or function of organs. They are an indispensible component of patient care and are used to diagnose severe illnesses, suggest treatment options and prevent complications.
- PET/CT, one of the top notch modern imaging methods used in diagnosing and monitoring treatment of nearly all types of cancer, cardiovascular diseases and certain brain disorders
- PSMA PET CT; it is currently the highest precision scan available for detecting prostate cancer cells
- Dual head SPECT camera
- Bone density measurement (DEXA) device
- Gamma probe, which can be used in surgeries
- Leukocyte tracking for diagnosing local infections
Clinical Laboratory
At our clinical laboratory department, perfoms all clinical laboratory tests including routine biochemistry, hematology, coagulation and endocrinology tests, drug analyses, tumor markers, screening tests and stimulation and suppression. Therefore, we guarantee accuracy and reliability of our tests results through our “Internal Quality Control Program” and we verify the international acceptability of these results through 12 different international “External Quality Control Programs” we participate in.
